Our new “Waypoint Kids” Sunday morning kids programming will be starting on Sunday, September 11th and will be taking place during the 10:30 service.
Our new Sunday morning kids program will use an “inquiry- based” learning model which means the lesson remains the same but the path will be flexible and move through the kids’ questions and what activities they want to do. We will be using Sparkhouse Digital Programming which is a new resource for faith formation for young children for us at St. Mark’s. The lesson of the day will match the lesson the adults are receiving to encourage continued discussion at home.
We have a strong group of volunteers to help run our new Sunday morning kids program and we will also be asking the parents of the children attending to commit to being the support person on 2 Sundays between September and Christmas.
