Waypoint Kids returns on Sunday, Sept 8 during the 10:30 service. The planned lessons are lectionary based so the children are learning about the same theme that their parents are in church.
Learning about Jesus’ love and actions and how We can share Jesus’ love through our daily action and interactions is the main goal of Waypoint Kids. We are building relationships with the children and youth of our parish and helping them see that they can make a difference in our Parish and beyond.
As our group attendance grows and changes, we are planning to do some more in-depth learning with the older kids and are excited to see this growth develop.
There are future Family Activities being planned and we hope that the Waypoint Kids and all the parish families will come out and have fun together.
The first one to be confirmed is the “Trunk and Treat” that’s returning on Sunday Oct 27 from 2pm – 4pm. This is when parishioners come and bring Halloween candy to hand out from their car. The children of the parish and surrounding community come in their costumes and go from car to car collecting treats. People bringing candy usually decorate their vehicle and it is a wonderful fun afternoon for all.
